Why Lime Choice Matters
Ancient Romans knew that the right aggregates change the performance of lime dramatically.
Their brick–lime mixes absorbed steam, regulated humidity, and created durable, breathable layers — techniques still visible today in well-preserved Roman Baths.
We are proud to bring this knowledge directly from Pompeii and Venice to the UK.

Historic Building Restoration
An Award-winning Project in pictures
The Cob House is a 300-year-old Grade II listed converted block of stables, originally serving as the stable block to Steanbridge House in Slad, nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds.
This project was approached as a conservation endeavour, with the client’s primary focus being the preservation of the building’s character while bringing it up to contemporary standards fit for the 21st century.

You don’t meet people with such a work ethic, very often. They knew their product and what it was all about. We were amazed how polite they were, they didn’t hurry, they were very professional at what they did.

I was very worried about the rising damp situation, so I contacted Core Conservation through The Listed Property Owners’ Club and I have been very-very impressed. Mike is really nice, I think he is totally professional, I like him immensely. Yes, I would totally recommend it to anybody, who has a building with damp problems.
Dr JY
